A WebDAV code for document locking, where one editor holds a lock while working on a file. Some applications reuse it outside WebDAV to mean an account or record is temporarily frozen.
Locks are meant to expire, so waiting is often enough. A lock that never clears usually means the client holding it disconnected without releasing it, and an administrator has to remove it manually.
