How to convert HEIC to PDF online

About this tool

PDF is the format that gets a photo through any door. Email attachments, school and government portals, expense systems, and print shops all accept PDF without question, while many of them reject or silently mangle the HEIC files an iPhone produces. Converting a handful of photos, receipts, or document scans into one PDF also turns a loose pile of images into a single file that stays in order.

This tool converts HEIC and HEIF photos to a PDF entirely in your browser. Drop any number of files, pick a page size, and press Convert. Each photo is decoded and placed on its own page: Fit to photo makes the page exactly the size of the image, while A4 and US Letter centre it on a standard sheet with a small margin, rotating the page to landscape for wide shots. The photos are embedded as high-quality JPEG so the document stays a reasonable size, and one button downloads the result.

Pages follow the order of the list, so add photos in the sequence you want them read, and remove any that do not belong before converting. Changing the page size after a run sends the queue back so you can rebuild with the new setting. Photos larger than about 24 megapixels are scaled down to the browser limit, which is still far beyond what any page needs.

Can I put several HEIC photos in one PDF?

Which page size should I choose?
Fit to photo is best for viewing on screen or when the image itself is the document. A4 or US Letter is best when the PDF will be printed or submitted somewhere that expects standard pages. Photos are centred with a small margin either way.
Will the photos lose quality?
Slightly. Photos are embedded as JPEG at 90 percent quality, which is not visible at print or screen size and keeps the PDF a sensible size. A lossless PDF from twenty phone photos would be hundreds of megabytes.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion and PDF assembly run entirely in your browser. Your photos never leave your device and are never sent to a server.
Why did one of my files fail to convert?
Usually the file is not actually a HEIC image, for example a JPG that was renamed with a .heic extension. A failed file shows an error on its own row and is left out of the PDF while the rest of the photos go in.
