Reorder PDF Pages
Move pages into a new order with visual thumbnails and download the result.
How to rearrange PDF pages online
Add your PDF
Drop a single PDF onto the tool, click to browse, or paste it from your clipboard. Every page appears as a small thumbnail labelled with its original page number.
Move the pages
Use the arrows on each page to move it earlier or later in the document. The reordered PDF rebuilds a moment after every move.
Download the PDF
Click Download PDF to save the document in its new order, named after the original file with -reordered appended.
Why use this tool
Visual page thumbnails
Every page renders as a small preview, so you arrange the document by sight instead of guessing from page numbers.
Rebuilds on every move
The reordered PDF regenerates moments after each move, so the download always matches the order on screen.
Original numbers stay visible
Each page keeps a badge with its number from the source file, so you never lose track of what went where.
One-click reset
A Reset order button puts every page back in its original sequence if the shuffle goes wrong.
Lossless page copies
Pages are copied into the new document without re-encoding, so selectable text and image resolution survive.
Local and account-free
Reordering happens entirely in your browser. No upload, no signup, and no watermark on the finished file.
About this tool
This tool changes the page order of a PDF using nothing but your browser. Drop one document and every page appears as a small thumbnail carrying its original page number. The arrows on each page move it earlier or later in the sequence, the reordered PDF rebuilds a moment after every move, and a Reset order button restores the original sequence if you lose your way. The download is named after the source file with -reordered appended.
Typical jobs: fixing a scan where the sheets went through the feeder shuffled, moving an appendix ahead of the references, or shifting a cover page to the front where it belongs. Pages are copied into the new document exactly as they are, so selectable text stays selectable and images keep their resolution. Thumbnails are rendered for the first 100 pages; in longer documents the remaining pages keep their original order after the reordered ones.
The tool takes one PDF at a time on purpose, so the page grid always shows a single document. To combine several files and arrange them first, use merge PDF. To pull a section out as its own file there is split PDF, unwanted pages can go through delete PDF pages, and PDF page numbers can stamp the new sequence afterwards. Nothing is uploaded at any point; the file is read, reordered, and saved on your own device.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I rearrange the pages of a PDF?
- Drop a PDF onto the tool and use the arrows on each page thumbnail to move it earlier or later. The reordered PDF rebuilds after every move, ready to download.
- Does reordering change the quality of my PDF?
- No. Pages are copied into the new document without re-encoding, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. Only the order changes.
- Why do the thumbnails stop at 100 pages?
- Previews are rendered for the first 100 pages to keep the tool responsive. In longer documents, pages beyond that point keep their original order after the reordered block.
- Can I undo a move?
- Each arrow moves a page one position, so you can step it back the same way. The Reset order button restores the entire original sequence in one click.
- Can I reorder pages across multiple PDFs?
- This tool works on one file at a time so the page grid always shows a single document. Combine your files with merge PDF first, then reorder the merged result here.
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. Reordering happens locally in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded, never stored, and never leaves your device.
