Privacy tools
Free privacy tools that run entirely in your browser. Scrub API keys and passwords out of logs, strip GPS and camera data from photos, videos, and PDFs, anonymize spreadsheets before you share them, and check whether a redacted PDF still hides readable text. Your files never leave your device.
All privacy tools
CSV Anonymizer
Detect personal columns in a spreadsheet and replace them with consistent fake data.
Metadata Stripper
Drop photos, PDFs, audio, or video and get clean copies back, with a list of the GPS location, device, and dates each file was carrying.
Redaction Checker
Drop a redacted PDF to find text still hiding under black boxes, redactions never applied, comments, metadata, and old versions, then download a safe copy.
Secrets Scrubber
Paste code, a config file, or server logs and every key, password, or personal detail is replaced live with a labelled tag like [AWS_KEY] or [EMAIL].
Frequently asked questions
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. Every privacy tool reads and rewrites your files locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, stored, or logged, which matters most when the file is the sensitive thing.
- Is a black box over text in a PDF enough to hide it?
- Often not. A shape drawn on top of text hides it on screen but leaves the words in the file, where anyone can copy or search them. The redaction checker finds these leaks and can produce a flattened, safe copy.
- What kind of hidden data do files carry?
- Photos can hold the GPS location and the phone that took them, PDFs record the author and the software used, and videos from phones often store where they were filmed. The metadata stripper shows what it found before removing it.
- Are the privacy tools free?
- Yes. Every privacy tool is free, with no account, no sign-up, and no usage limits.
