Frequently asked questions
- Are my audio files uploaded to a server?
- No. Every audio tool processes files locally in your browser. Recordings, voice memos, and music never leave your device, and nothing is stored or logged.
- Which audio formats are supported?
- The converter reads MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, and the audio track of common video files, and writes MP3, WAV, M4A, and OGG. The other tools accept the same common formats.
- Why does the first run take longer?
- The first time you use a conversion tool it downloads its processing engine once, then keeps it for the rest of your session. After that, short clips process in seconds.
- Is there a file size limit?
- There is no fixed limit, but processing uses your device memory, so very long recordings take longer and are more comfortable on a desktop browser than a phone.
