Why use this tool

Arrows in every direction

Left, right, up, down, and diagonal arrows in single, double, triple, heavy, dashed, and long styles, all in one searchable grid.

Click to copy

One click copies an arrow and drops it into a running selection, so you can grab a single symbol or build a set.

Search and filter

Type a name to filter the grid, or use the category chips to jump to single line, double, heavy, or misc arrows.

Names on hover

Hovering a tile shows the arrow name, so you can tell similar-looking arrows apart before you copy one.

Runs entirely in your browser

The picker is a plain list rendered on the page. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create.

About this tool

Arrows are one of the largest families of symbols in Unicode, spanning simple single line arrows, double and triple line arrows used in math and logic, heavy black arrows for emphasis, harpoons, dashed and squiggle arrows, long arrows, and white outline arrows. This picker gathers well over a hundred of them into one grid so you do not have to hunt through a character map to find the exact direction and weight you need.

Click any arrow to copy it to your clipboard, and it is also added to a selection bar at the top. That makes it easy to build a small sequence, like a pair of arrows for a before and after label, or a row that shows a flow. A search box filters by name so you can find, say, a rightwards double arrow quickly, and category chips separate single line arrows from double, heavy, and miscellaneous styles. Each tile shows its name on hover so near look-alikes are easy to tell apart.

Arrows are handy in documents, spreadsheets, diagrams, code comments, and social posts. Most are plain text symbols that take on the surrounding text color, while a few black block arrows may render as emoji on some platforms. Everything runs on the page with nothing sent anywhere. For more collections, try the star symbols picker, grab heart symbols, or open the full emoji picker.

Frequently asked questions

How do I copy an arrow symbol?
Click any arrow in the grid. It is copied to your clipboard right away and also added to the selection bar at the top so you can keep collecting more.
What is the difference between single and double arrows?
Single arrows are drawn with one line and are used for general direction. Double and triple arrows use two or three lines and often carry specific meanings in math and logic, such as implication.
Can I copy several arrows at once?
Yes. Each arrow you click is added to the selection bar. Press copy all to place the whole sequence on your clipboard, or clear it to start over.
Where can I paste arrow symbols?
Anywhere that accepts Unicode text, including documents, spreadsheets, code comments, chat, and social posts. Most arrows are plain text and take on the surrounding text color.
Is anything uploaded when I copy?
No. The picker runs entirely in your browser. Copying uses your clipboard on your device and nothing is sent to a server, stored, or logged.
