Privacy

Short version: the tools on this site don't see your data. Files, text, and anything else you put into a tool stay in your browser. There is no upload endpoint and no server processing. If you turn off your internet after a page loads, the tools still work.

Longer version: the pages themselves are still web pages. They load code from a handful of other companies, and those companies can see your IP address and which page you are on, the same as any site you visit. That is a different thing from your data, and this page keeps the two apart.

What we collect

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights record aggregate page views and loading performance on every visit. They set no cookies and store no personal data; to count visitors once per day, Vercel derives a short-lived hash from your IP address and browser and discards it after 24 hours.

Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept the banner. Decline it, or ignore it, and nothing is requested from Google at all. If you accept, Google receives the page you are on, your IP address, and your browser details, and sets its own cookies.

Your analytics choice

You can change your mind at any time. This is stored in your browser, so it is per device.

Advertising

This site does not currently show ads. It probably will one day, because the tools have to be paid for somehow, so here is what will happen when it does. Nothing in this section is running today.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or to other sites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• The usual technologies are involved: cookies, web beacons (small invisible images or scripts that record that a page or ad was loaded), your IP address, and similar device or browser identifiers.
• Third parties may place and read their own cookies in your browser as a result of ads being served, and those cookies are set by them, not by us.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google in your Google Ads Settings, and out of personalised advertising by many other vendors at aboutads.info/choices. Opting out does not remove ads, it only makes them less relevant. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before any personalised ads are served, and before advertising cookies are set. Your answer is stored in your browser, so it is per device. You can change it at any time using the controls under “Your analytics choice” above, which cover advertising as well.

One thing worth saying plainly: ad code cannot see the contents of the files or text you put into a tool. That work happens entirely inside your browser and is never sent anywhere, so there is nothing for an advertiser to read. Ads are targeted on the page you are on and on your browsing history elsewhere, never on your input.

What we don't collect

• The contents of any file you process
• Any text you paste into a tool
• Accounts, names, or email addresses, unless you type one into the contact form
• Anything we sell to anyone

Third parties

Your files and text are never sent anywhere. Some pages do load code or data from other hosts, which means those hosts can see your IP address and which page you are on:

• Vercel, on every page (hosting, Web Analytics, Speed Insights)
• Google, only after you accept the analytics banner
• Google advertising services, which are not loaded today, but will serve ads and set their own cookies if ads are switched on
• jsDelivr, when you open a video, audio, or image-to-text tool, which downloads the processing code those tools run
• IMG.LY, when you use the background remover, which downloads its model
• Web3Forms, only when you actually submit the contact form, which receives your message and the email address you type into it

Children

The site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
