How to crop a PDF online

About this tool

This cropper trims the visible area of PDF pages entirely in your browser. Drop a file and the first page appears as a preview: drag a rectangle across it and everything outside dims out, or type exact percentages into the top, right, bottom, and left margin fields when a drag is not precise enough. The two stay in sync, so a rough drag can be nudged to a round number afterwards.

Margins are proportions rather than fixed measurements, which means one crop works across a mixed document: pages of different sizes each lose the same share of their own width and height. Pages that are stored rotated are handled in the orientation you actually see, so dragging in from the left of a sideways scan trims the side you pointed at. The output reports the new page size in points so you can check it against a target.

Cropping is how you kill the dead white border around a scan, drop a header or footer that should not print, or cut a wide slide down to the panel that matters. Because the page content is preserved rather than redrawn, text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
